How You Can Celebrate Father's Day by Listening to Luke Combs' New Album, "Fathers and Sons"
Father's Day is a special occasion where we pause to appreciate and celebrate the incredible men who have shaped our lives. It’s a day to acknowledge the unwavering support, love, and guidance that fathers provide. At Dad Bod Summer, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the fathers out there. Your role in the family is irreplaceable, and your contributions are deeply valued. This year, our Father’s Day celebration has an extra special soundtrack– Luke Combs' new album, "Fathers and Sons." This album, with its poignant lyrics and heartfelt melodies, captures the essence of fatherhood and is the perfect backdrop for a weekend dedicated to dads.
We also want to take a moment to honor the brave soldiers who are currently on active duty, serving our country with dedication and courage. Your sacrifices ensure our freedom, and we are eternally grateful for your service. To the veterans who have served in the past, thank you for your unwavering commitment and bravery. Your contributions have paved the way for a safer world, and we owe you a debt of gratitude that words can hardly express. This Father’s Day, as we enjoy time with our families, we remember and thank those who are away from theirs, protecting our nation.
Luke Combs' latest album, "Fathers and Sons," has become the soundtrack of our Father’s Day weekend. Luke is a father of two young boys and this new project of his is very different than the main stream success that he's celebrated in recent years. Is there a better gift to his two young sons than to release this album on Fathers Day? I don't believe so!
Reflecting on my own life, I feel incredibly blessed to have grown up with an amazing dad. We spent countless days together at our hockey games, going to Phillies games and sitting first row in the outfield at Veterans Stadium, and then waiting around for autographs after (Thanks Doug Glanville for always signing). I also had the privilege of having wonderful uncles who took us to Sea Isle City, New Jersey, every summer. It’s also heartwarming to see my brother-in-law be a fantastic father to my three nephews: Jake, Jude, and Finn.
One of the best reasons why I started Dad Bod Summer was to honor the fathers we’ve lost to suicide due to mental health issues. At Dad Bod Summer, we are committed to removing the stigma around men's mental health. As the owner, Mikey Parisano, I am proud to announce that we are donating 5% of our proceeds to mental health charities across the United States.
This Father’s Day, let’s celebrate, remember, and work towards a future where every father feels supported and valued.
Cheers. And once again: Happy Father's Day!
